Welcome!
6/1/2020- Please see your email for the weekly assignments. Everything is on TEAMS! Thank you! This information is also on your student's teams account and it was emailed via Skyward. Final argumentative essays are due June 5th!
Dear Students and Families,
Hello June! We have three weeks left. I will lay it all out here so you can plan your time accordingly.
Week of 6/1-6/5
1. Use the editing/revising sheets on Teams. Have a friend or parent help you review your essay. Help is ok but you need to do the actual writing of the paper. Final copies of your essay are due Friday, June 5th.
2. View the Dystopia PowerPoint. Answer the Dystopia worksheet and send in answers. This is all in Teams.
3. Begin reading your Dystopia Novel. Email Mrs. McCullough if you are still having a problem finding a copy of your novel or don’t have online access to one.
Week of 6/8-6/12
1. Read Dystopia Novel and work on Dystopia project.
Week of 6/15-6/19
1. Complete Dystopia novel and turn in project by Friday, June 19th.
2. All late or missing work is due by Friday, June 19th.
Week of 6/22-6/23
1. Turn in laptops to the proper locations as indicated by the school district.
2. OPTIONAL: Watch the movie, “Akeelah and the Bee” if you are able to. I usually rent it off Amazon Prime Video and show it at the end of every school year. It is a great movie and tells the story of Akeelah Anderson and her quest to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee. It is rated PG.
3. Have a wonderful summer and take good care of yourself. Say thank you to anyone at home that helped support you during this crazy online school time!
Thank you for hanging in there with me,
Mrs. McCullough
